  • If your poetry is accepted for Hudson View, you will usually hear from us within 2 - 4 months.

  • We will always contact poets before publishing, to confirm that their poetry is still available.

  • All styles and poetic themes will be considered.  Poems can be of any length.  Poems should be edited and ready for publication, typed in a combination of lower and upper case or lower case only. Please don't submit poetry typed in all upper case.  We will have to return it.

  • Poetry is not edited, therefore, please submit final form, as accepted poetry will be published and printed "as is".  We no longer email pdf galleys, but will confirm contents via email so we may correct any possible errors prior to print. We work closely with our writers to produce beautiful, pristine books.

  • Include a 75 word THIRD PERSON BIO with your submission - even if we've published your poetry before.  We don't hold past files.

  • Please submit 5 - 6 poems in each email submission.

  • Send all poems inside ONE email. We cannot open attachments.  Include your email address and a third person bio of no more than 75 words.

  • By submitting, you are giving your permission to Hudson View, Skyline Review or Literary House Review to print your all or part of your submission (literary and/or artwork.)

Although we may archive select poetry online, all poetry remains the sole property of the poets who submit them. Poets reserve all rights to their work, at all times.  Please read our Copyright information.
